PROVERBS
Proverbs are short sayings or phrases that refer to accepted commonplace truths based on practical experience or common sense; furthermore, they are a very important part of the culture and the expression of peoples wisdom throw centuries of spoken tradition. Proverbs carry a lot of sense and they are usually mentioned when advicing people how to behave properly, that’s why , most of the times, we listen to them from our parents or elders because, as the proverb says “Experience is the comb that nature gives us when we are bald”.
Exercise 1:
Listen to the following video and try to identify what do the proverbs mentioned in the video refer to. Pay special attention to the pronunciation of the woman when she speaks
Exercise 2 :
Answer, in your English notebook, the following questions about the video:
a. Did you like the video? Why?
