Basic information:
What’s your favorite song? What’s your parent or legal guardian favorite song? Have you ever talked about this topic? Well, this is a good opportunity to start a conversation with that person.
Our Favorite Songs Activity
Exercises:
1. Have a conversation with your parent(s) or your legal guardian(s) about the three favorite songs (in your native language) for each one of you.
2. Write in your notebook the following information:
What are the names of your legal guardian favorite songs? (Write them into English)

4. Each one of you will choose just one of your three songs and then you will write
them in two different sheets of paper, according to the following parameters:
5. Underline the Nouns in every song.
6. Circle the Verbs in every song.
7. Highlight with a color pencil the Adjectives in every song.
8. On the back of the pages where you wrote the songs and classified the words , Write the list of nouns, the list of verbs and the list of adjectives with their
corresponding phonetic transcription and translation into English (Use your bilingual dictionary or surf www.wordreference.com website to do this).
9. Choose five lines from the lyrics of every song and translate them into English.
10.When you complete these exercises, take the corresponding pictures and send them to
your teacher mail as an evidence of your work.
11.Prepare the right pronounciation of the sentences and vocabulary in these exercises
browsing tophonetics.com website (using earphones let you listen better)
12.Record a voice note with the right pronunciation of the words (nouns, verbs and
adjectives)and the sentences you translated into English.
Note: Send both evidences (Pictures and Voice Note on Monday, June 15th)
